Insecured residents leave homes

Hundreds of people from B sector in Dhansiri sub division in Golaghat district bordering Nagaland are leaving their homes fearing attack by the Naga miscreants who shot dead two local residents on Tuesday.

Local residents told Assam Times that they feel it quit insecured to live in the B sector area in Dhansiri where police and security forces have been failing to restore confidence among them.

On the other hand, the authorities have yet to prevent the local residents from leaving the area fearing backlash by the Naga miscreants.
