NTPC organizes identification camp

 An identification camp for persons with disability was organized in association with National Institute for the Orthopedically Handicapped (NIOH), Kolkata at NTPC Bongaigaon Hospital, Salakati in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.

Altogether, 180 persons with different disabilities like orthopedically handicapped, visually impaired, hearing impaired &persons with cerebral palsyattended the camp, out of which 62 persons have been identified suitable for distribution of aids and appliances by the doctors and technical staff of NIOH.

Arvind Kumar, Regional Executive Director, Eastern Region –II inaugurated the camp in the presence of UtpalChakraborty, Group General Manager, NTPC, BgTPP, Dr. P.K.Ghosh, CMO, other doctors and senior officials of NTPC,stated a NTPC press release.
