CM’s date with dissident MLAs

Amid crisis within the Congress legislature party, chief minister Tarun Gogoi will talk to the dissident MLAs very soon.

Sources told Assam Times that Gogoi will discuss the pending issues with the dissident ministers and MLAs after his return from New Delhi.

Two days back, Gogoi agreed to talk to his dissident colleagues after getting the entire scenario from a team of senior leaders headed by Sarat Borkotoky.

Borkotoky is believed to have agreed to bring the dissident ministers and MLAs to Gogoi this week itself in order that the differences could be resolved.

Significantly, over 30 MLAs and ministers, mostly belonging to Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s dissident camp called on Gogoi during the last four days.
