Outgoing health and education minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma makes it plain and simple that he would continue to oppose Tarun Gogoi as chief minister as long as he stays.
Immediately after sending his resignation letter on Monday, Dr Sarma who has been leading the dissident group said that he has 50 legislators behind him and if need be, he would name them.
Criticising Gogoi, Dr Sarma alleged Gogoi only promised to quit owning moral responsibility for the poll debacle. But later he later backtracked. Is there any internal democracy in the Congress?" Sarma told reporters.
