Course on Electronic Systems Design

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is holding a two-week course at Assam Don Bosco University Azara Campus in association with Adlabts Solution and National Instruments on Electronic Systems Design, 3-15 June 2014.

The Objective of the course is to familiarize participants with Embedded Systems and its related applications. It will provide hands-on skills on Circuit Simulation and PCB design. Besides Programming using AVR microcontroller, it will help in Familiarization and Application Development with LabVIEW.

The target group for the course will be faculty, researchers and students in the field of Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Physical sciences. Only 60 participants will be allowed on first come first serve basis.

The Workshop Syllabus include: Overview of Microcontroller and Embedded Systems; Introduction to 8051 and Programming; Interfacing with various peripherals; PCB layout designing; Circuit Simulation using Proteus; Introduction and Programming using AVR microcontroller; Introduction to LabVIEW; and System Design using LabVIEW.

For registration, candidates have to pay the fee of 4,000 rupees by Demand Draft in favor of “Assam Don Bosco University” payable at Guwahati. Scanned copy of the completed application form and the demand draft should be submitted to stcesd2014@gmail.com on or before 20 May 2014.

Note: Tea and Lunch will be provided during the workshop. If the registration of any participant is not confirmed, then the registration fee will be refunded.
