He brings the honour to the ASSAM as well as for the country. I am wising his bright career in boxing and expecting that he will do great in international arena. I am expecting medal from Shiva in President Haider Ali Cup at AJERBAIJAN from 6th to 10th may, 2008.

The Assam Government has tabled on the floor of the House the report on the Beltola Clash that rocked the state on November 24 which left 2 people dead .and several others injured. The report contains some uncharitable remarks against the Kamrup district administrations and police for failing to bring the law and order situation under control. Members of All Assam Student Union (AASU) seized the alleged low quality furniture supplied during the year 2007 by the Education Department to one of its model schools at Bangsor Higher Secondary School under Jalukbari Constituency on 01-04-08.
