Sun TV Network Ltd has launched launched an FM Radio Station in Guwahati under the brand 'S FM' through its subsidiary South Asia FM Ltd.The FM station is starting its operations on Tuesday at 93.5 MHz frequency in the city which aims at catering to all audience.According to the country's second largest television network, it hold licences for 45 FM Radio Stations across the country. Union minister of state for fertiliser, chemicals and mining, Bijoy Krishna Handique announced that the multi crore gas cracker project will be completed in time albeit land requisition is delaying some problems. Speaking to reporters on Monday in Changsari, he said the Prime Minister has instructed the gas cracker authorities to expedite the work on the multi crore project proposed in the historic Assam Accord, 1985. according to him, land requisition process is nearing completion but there is some difficulties due to some matters relating to compensation.The proposed project if completed play an important role in the economy of the north eastern region.
