UG Brahma, Sarania file nomination
ABSU, BPPF, NDFB (P), UDPF and PJACBM backed Urkhao Gwra Brahma filed nomination papers to the No.5 Kokrajhar HPC at Deputy Commissioner Office in the presence of huge supporters today.
A grand mass rally was carried out in support of Brahma’s candidature where leaders from allied organization including Promod, Boro, president ABSU, Pradip Kumar Brahma, president UDPF, Rabiram Narzary, president BPPF, starting from BPPF party office via ID Road to DC office and submitted nomination papers.
Menwhile, Hira Sarania, pro-talk ULFA leader(independent) candidate backed Janagostiya Aikhya Mancha also filed his nomination papers to the Returning Office taking with his supporters.
With files of nomination of Brahma and Sarania, there are four candidates are in fray to contest Kokrajhar HPC till today.The election would be held on April 24.
