In a major relief for Akhil Gogoi, the Gauhati High Court on Friday granted bail to the KMSS president in three more cases.
A bench of the High Court comprising Justice CR Sarma granted bail to the peasant leader in all the cases. The three cases were registered anew.
Two cases came from Khetri police station while the another case was registered with Bharalumukh police station.
The court took up the petition on Thursday. But could not pass its judgment due to non receipt of case diaries from the police.
With this, Gogoi procured bail in all cases nearly a month after he was arrested initially in connection with the sensational self immolation case in Dispur.
