AGP moves poll panel against Agnihotri

AGP has moved the state election officer on Wednesday seeking immediate transfer of Kamrup(metro) deputy commissioner Ashotosh Agnihotri in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls.

The Opposition party feared that Agnihotri might help the Guwahati Congress candidate win the upcoming polls by hook or by crook.

According to the allegations, Agnihotri has been working as the Kamrup(metro) deputy commissioner for more than the last  three years who needs to be transferred as per the model code of conduct.
