Fake doctor arrested in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: Kokrajhar police apprehended a fake doctor with prescription and medicines at Kokrajhar town today. The arrested doctor has been dealing his fake profession of treatment among Piles patients since few five years at a chamber at New Bhowal Medical in Kokrajhar town along the JD Road.

Based on the public complaint against the fake doctor, who himself written on his prescription pad as Dr Hafis Aziz Rahman(Dr HA Rahman), police apprehended today from New Bhowal Medical pharmacy in Kokrajhar. The arrested doctor hailed from Dampurgram (Alamganj) under Gauripur PS of Dhubri district and was only class seven passed in his normal eductaion. Rahman,who has been giving treatment of Piles diseases since few five years by pretending as professional doctor in different bazar and areas in the region. Police recovered many objectionable materials from Rahman including syringe, medicines from his possession.

 SP Rajen Singh told that the police arrested the fake doctor,who has been cheating the common peoples and collecting huge money in the name piles treatment. Rahman was a fake doctor and his intention was only to earning money by pretending medical treatment. Strong legal action will be initiated against him and so far police arrested him.

The arrested fake doctor Rahman said that he had no any license or other necessary medical documents. He was only giving treatment of Piles among attending patients. He also reveals that he was only class seven passed in his life and working as doctor since five years. ‘I was earning my livelihood by the doctor profession since few years’,he said.

Kokrajhar, May 2:  A search operation that began yesterday evening concluded today with the recovery of three bodies from the Beki River near Manas National Park in Baksa district. KOKRAHAR: A sense of alarm has gripped the Jharbari area after a timber smuggler was discovered dead in a firing incident during the early hours of the morning in Kokrajhar.
