"EKATA YATRA" to be held at Lumding.
Hojai:- In order to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Lumding Sports Association is going to hold All Assam (Prize Money) Marathon Race "EKATA YATRA" on July 6 at Lumding under Hojai District, a Press Communique stated.
The Press Communique issued by Lumding Sports Association General Secretary Sudip Kumar Das on Friday further state's that the marathon race will began on morning 6 am from near Lumding Civil Hospital campus.
Participant's coming from outside will be provided accommodation (fooding and lodging) from 5th July evening to 6th July Upto afternoon's Lunch. Outside Participant's has to report the association within the stipulated time 5 pm of 5th July.
The winner's will be awarded with Rs 7,000 (1st Prize); Rs 5,000 (2nd Prize); Rs.3,000 (3rd Prize) and Seven (7) Consolation prize's.

AGP steering committee failed to take any clear cut decision to withdraw the withdrawal of suspension against Padma Hazarika on Saturday.
Chaired by president Prafulla Kumar Mahanta, the meeting took place for several hours in the evening. But consensus eluded.
The meeting, however, set up a three member panel to examine the entire issue at an earlier date.
Hazarika was suspended on February 7 alleging that he refused to toe on the party line in the Rajya Sabha polls.

RTI Akhil Gogoi has blamed Tarun Gogoi alleging that the Chief Minister has created space for Maoist groups to operate in the state. The National Investigation Agency is all set to produce DHD-J military chief Niranjan Hojai before a special court in Guwahati on Monday.
