Skill fest empowers students in Sualkuchi with communication and career guidance

GUWAHATI, July 21, 2026 — Bharti Airtel Foundation organised a Skill Fest at Ganesh Das High School in Sualkuchi, Kamrup Rural district, to strengthen the skill ecosystem among school students.

The sessions were conducted by Ranjan K. Baruah, Career Mentor and Skill Trainer from the North East Youth Foundation, focusing on English communication, public speaking and career guidance. Students from Bhringeswar High School, Sualkuchi Higher Secondary School, Ganesh Das High School, Bongshar Jalti Das High School and Srihati Bathan High School participated in the programme.

The event was coordinated by Principriya Hazarika, Academic Mentor of Bharti Airtel Foundation, with support from Ratul Kalita, Science and Mathematics Teacher of Ganesh Das High School, under the guidance of Head Teacher Gangadhar Kakati.

The programme featured interactive activities and practical sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, self-expression, confidence and career awareness among students.
