NDFB-S rebel killed in Chirang

KOKRAJHAR:The security forces deployed in the counter insurgency operation in BTAD areas claimed to have eliminated yet anotherNDFB-S rebel in Chirang on Monday.

According to what the authority says the rebel was killed at an encounter which took place in Shantipur near Runikhata bordering Bhutan.

The rebel has yet to be identified and some arms and ammunition were believed to have been seized from his possession.
