Memorandum to Home Minister on issues of Bengali Hindus

A ten member delegation of All BTC Bengali Youth Students' Federation (ABBYSF)  comprising President Montu Dey, General Secretary Sujon Paul ,Chief Advisor Shyamal Sarkar called on 
Union Home minister Mr Rajnath Singh for resolving the various issues of Bengali Hindus in national capital on Monday.


In the meeting held in the home minister’s chamber in the Parliament House, the ABBYSF submitted him a memorandum highlighting various issues being faced by Bengali Hindus.


The memorandum firstly congratulated the Union Home minister for the historical victory of the BJP led grand alliance in the state assembly polls.The memorandum expressed great hopes in resolving the issues Bengali Hindus under the BJP government at the centre .


The memorandum welcoming BJP government citizenship amendment bill 2016 to grant citizenship to migrant Hindus in Assam and some parts of the country observed that Bengali Hindus are native citizens of the country as so to release the Bengali Hindus from various detention camps of state at the earliest. The memorandum in perspective of the view that Bengali Hindus migrated in undivided India for various purposes,demanded status of indigenous citizen of Assam.


The memorandum also exhorted to strongly dealt and uproot terrorist fundamental groups like J.M.B,I.S.I.S,NDFB(S) for maintaining sovereignty of the nation. The memorandum also exhorted to take necessary steps to protect the dignity ,religion and culture of Bengali Hindus in Bangladesh.


The memorandum lastly demanded ex-gratia to the family members of Bengali Hindus who have been killed by various extremist groups.
