Despite an orgy of untoward incidents across the state, thousands of people thronged Veterinary College playgreound in Khanapara to attend Rahul Gandhi’s youth and women empowerment rally on Monday.
Congrssmen from all districts of the state have reached the city to attend the huge rally.
A section of the Congress activists told Assam Times that they have come across many hurdles in the form of road blockade to reach the rally.
Some others said that they were provided security to arrive in Guwahati to attend the rally at 1 in the afternoon.
