Cable strike called off

A ray of respite for the Guwahatians. The cable operators have called off strike slated for Tuesday.

The decision was taken after power minister assured them that he would positively look into their demands. The association would meet again on March 6 where they are expected to take a decision on the next course of action.

Much to the worries of the poll bound Congress, cable operators announced black out on Tuesday when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would be on a two days visit to the state.
