Horticulture college in Nalbari

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Sunday laid the foundation stone of the state’s first ever horticulture college in at a function in Nalbari.

In his address at the function presided over by agriculture minister Nilomoni Sendeka, Gogoi hoped that the college would help the state bring a boomtime in horticulture.

Deka said that the government has sanctioned Rs 25 crore for the college and that the session of the college would begin soon. The college construction is expected to end by the next year.
