CLP meets in Dispur

The Congress legislative party is holding a crucial meeting in Dispur today to fine a slew of strategies to ensure smooth passage of two Bhubneswar Kalita, Dr Sanjay Sinh and Biswajeet Daimary in the Rajya Sabha polls slated for Friday.

To be chaired by chief minister Tarun Gogoi, the meeting is expected to be attended by the BPF legislators to help the ruling party chalk out the strategies at the Assam Assembly secretariat at 11 in the morning.

Sources told Assam Times that the ruling party is trying its level best to garner two more votes to ensure victory of the trio.
