ULFA’s anti talk faction has urged the Bangladesh judiciary to review its order of death sentence for Paresh Baruah in the arms smuggling case.
In a press statement, the outfit said that they have already made the review request to the Chittagang Court two days after it issued the death sentence to the ULFA Commander-in-Chief along with 14 others.
The sensational incident took place in 2004 where police seized ten trucks carrying arms and ammunition for Baruah. In 2010, the court issued non bail-able warrant against the ULFA boss.
