Daimary to file nomination

Rajya Sabha MP from BPF Biswajeet Daimary is all set to file his nomination on Monday seeking reelection to the Upper House with the help of Congress.

Daimary is scheduled to file his nomination on Monday before the returning officer in Dispur.

BPF sources told Assam Times that Daimay would be the second choice candidate in the Rajya Sabha polls slated for February 7.

His term will expire on April 13 along with Bhubneswar Kalita from Congress and Birendra Prasad Baishya from AGP.
