Special assistance !

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is expected to seek more central assistance for the state when he will attend the north east chief ministers’ conference in New Delhi on Monday. 
To be chaired by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at his official residence at 11 in the morning, Gogoi is likely to raise the plight of a number of infrascture projects in the state.
Dr Singh is expected to review the major infrascture projects in the entire region. DoNER minister Pawan Singh Ghatowar, union finance minister P Chidambaram are also scheduled to attend the meeting.
The prime minister has already asked the ministries to expedite the implementation of all the north east projects.
