Run for Inclusion

With the warm presence of Mr. Abihijit Baruah (Bare foot run Gunnies World Record holder from Jorhat), about more than 700 participants expressed their solidarity with the charity run i.e ‘Run for Inclusion’ of a distance of 5 km at Mohuramukh area (Bokakhat, Golaghat) early morning on  December 22. It was organized with the joint collaboration of North-East Affected Area Development Society (NEADS) and Aide et Action India in a perspective of treating individuals with equal dignity and fairness as well as to support the marginalized section of the society including the women, elderly people, children, person with disability etc.

‘Run for Inclusion’ will not only allow us to show our solidarity and responsibility towards our country and humanity but also gives an opportunity to extend our support towards the eradication of disparities in the society,  following the international Human Solidarity Day which reminds us that Solidarity is a key factor in overcoming any challenging situation.

In the same way, it was observed at Mohuramukh under Bokakhat legislative constituency of Golaghat district where the participants were the School Teacher, member of Panchayati Raj Institution, the volunteers of NEADS, government employees, School and college youths, women and some elderly people completed the charity run of 5 km successfully by expressing their solidarity in the event.

Guest of honour Mr. Abhijit Baruah announced prizes to the participants for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and wished their bright future. Not only this, he promised the participants that he with the joint collaboration of NEADS  and his institution, would be conducting a Marathan run competition in the month of February 2014.
