Nalbari Balst: 2 injured

Three peope have been injured while a powerful blast rocked a vegetable market in Nalbari. The explosion took place at 6in the evening. The injure peopes have been rushed to the hospital. They are Nalini Kalita, Rabindra Sarma and Biswajit Debnath. On the other hand, two hardcore ULFA cadres died at an encounter with army at the Dibru Saikhowa sanctuary. The encounter reportedly going on and the army jawans are cordoning off the entire area.

its really a human rights violation, so the government have to compensate those who are injured in the blast and to those family members of the victimis of these blast.

Its human rights violation by the terrorists. Why can't the terrorists compensate the family members of the victims. Does the government have to compensate you if robbers break into your house? It is high time to get rid of these terrorists and make life safe for the common man.

Its human rights abuses by the Rebels. these kinds of abuses are against Geneva conventions or humanatarian law. State should also break unlawfull killings and so-called encounters. Dialouge with the rebels is the only way of longlasting peace.

5 killed in tragic road mishap

Altogether 5 persons died at a tragic road mishap in Sonitpur on Saturday. The mishap took place in the wee hour near Gophur where Indigo vehicle carrying them to Guwahati slipped into the deep gorge at Borongabari. All the five persons died on the spot. HSLC/AHM exams from Feb 19

The High School Leaving Certificate Examination and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examination, 2013 will hold from February 19. Disclosing this, education minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the exams for the next session will start on February 19 next year and continue to March 5. The result for the examinations is expected to be declared before May 15. Kokrajhar: 4 died in miscreant attack

Four persons died in miscreant attack in Kokrajhar on Friday. The gruesome incident took place at Jaipur at around 9-15 in the evening.
