Top regional parties of the north eastern region are holding a two days' convention in Guwahati on Saturday to revive regionalism just six months before the Lok Sabha polls. Convened by AGP, the conference began at the Hotel Brahmaputra Ashoka in the morning. Apart from SAP leader Surjit Singh Barnala, Nagaland chief minister Neiphu Rio and former Meghalaya chief minister Dr Donkuper Roy and former Assam chief minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta attended the convention.
