College principal booked for domestic violence

In a sensational incident, wife of a principal of a college of Kalaigaon filed an FIR at Kalaigaon police station alleging mental torture, domestic violence against her husband. According to information Kakali Das, wife of Arabinda Das, principal of Kalaigaon College approached Officer-in-Charge of Kalaigaon police station on August 4 alleging physical and mental torture implicated on her and her two daughters by her husband for last twenty three years. She and her younger daughter told media persons in public that her husband had illegal affairs with other women and girls. She even alleged that she had seen a minor aged girl sleeping in her husband's separate bed room the previous night. Following the allegation, police brought the principal to Kalaigaon police station for interrogation.People of Kalaigaon have expressed serious concern at the incident.
