The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is all set to announce the HS results in all streams on Monday. The results would be available for all at 10 in the morning. Students can view the results through online websites on the mentioned date, for the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) which conducted the examination in the month of March 2013. Candidates can view their results by entering their roll code and roll number in http://resultsassam.nic.in/. The Higher Secondary Examination was conducted in twenty six districts across 823 centres across the state including Bongaigaon, Cachar, Chirang, Baksa, Barpeta, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dima, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup, Goalpara,, Karbi Anglong, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Tinsukia, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar and Udalguri.
It is with deep sorrow that the Asam Sahitya Sabha UK Chapter announces the passing of its first president, Shri Bhuban Baruah, who breathed his last this morning at Bexleyheath, London (1932 - November 1, 2024). The news has cast a shadow of grief over the UK Chapter and the wider Assamese community.
Shri Baruah, who emigrated over five decades ago, was a stalwart Assamese by heart and a knowledgeable yet humble individual. Born in Digboi, he pursued higher education at the University of Calcutta, earning his law degree and later completing his Master’s in Law from Banaras Hindu University with distinction.
