Concern over poor quality of construction work

The people of Kalachand in particular and of Dima Hasao in general expressed serious concern over the construction of a poor quality of Fly-over Bridge at Kalachand, Dima Hasao by the N.K.C. Pvt. Ltd. Meanwhile the Sainjurang Youth Club of  Khejurbond, Dima Hasao has submitted a complaint to the Project Manager, N.K.C. Pvt. Ltd, Kalachand, Dima Hasao for constructing a poor quality of fly-over bridge at Kalachand, Dima Hasao and to take immediate and necessary action.

Sri Hemanjoy Nunisa and Sri (Rijush Hapila) President and General Secretary respectively of Sainjurang Youth Club Khejurbond, Dima Hasao stated in the complaint that the unfortunate notice of defect in concrete pillars of the fly-over bridge constructed at Kalachand has socked the local people. It was found that the two underground concrete pillars are defective in construction. That one pillar did not reach the outer concrete wall and in the other pillar there were the remains of mud with the concrete pillar. Though they know that these pillars are defective they try to complete the outer concrete wall without cleaning the mud and filling-up the pillar.

However, after the complaint made by the members of the Sainjurang Youth Club and local public of Kalachand the remains of mud in a concrete pillar has been cleaned-up but the other short pillar remain as it was. Thus, the pillars which were the main foundation of the bridge are constructed in such a manner, than it might be very danger for its collapse in near future.
