Well-known artist of Sivasagar district Lakhi Baruah died at his home at Lankak Gohain Gaon at 7 A.M. on Sunday. He was around 75 years old and was survived by his wife, a doughter and a son. Many organisations of Sivasagar district condoled in his death.

ONGC Assam Asset fears major disruption in its functionings following the ongoing strike of the motor vehicle labour union.
