Rajdhani Blast: NSG to assist probe

The National Security Guards officials will assist the probe into the blast that cracked the New Delhi bound Rajdhani Express at the dead of the night on Wednesday by the Assam Adivasi Liberation Army leaving five people killed and four others injured in between Naojan and Chungajan.

Confirming this in New Delhi officials with the Union home ministry say the NSG officials are leaving for the blast site on Friday to assist the probe which began a few hours after the militants triggered the blast on the railway tract by remote control.

Sources further inform that the North east Frontier Railway authorities will arrange security arrangement in all the North East bound trains to ensure safety to its passengers.

Union home minister Shivraj Patil condemned the incident while railway minister Laloo Prasad Yadav also expressed grave concern over the rising militant target on the trains.
