Award winning novelist, poet and literary activist Dr Rita Chowdhury will attend the next Guest of the Month program of Guwahati Press Club on May 24. The interactive session will start at 12 noon. An activist of historic Assam movement, Rita Chowdhury is today widely known as a writer in Assam, whose contributions have already been recognized by Asom Shitya Sabha, Central Sahitya Akademi and the people of Assam.
