Children short play at Moran on January 22

The “Mau-Kuh” is organising one day Children short play show at auditorium of Moran college on January 22. In this show Luhit kumar Bora’s, “Doctor Mamar Banglat Adin”, Subhit Kumar Chetri’s, Rang-Birangor Sadhu”, Prasanjit Mohon’s “Uronia Putola”, Bhimbor Patiri’s, “ Bhinna Bulia Lecheri” and Sunil Kumar Gogoi’s, “ Borannya Biyokti” will be staged. The plays will be inagurated by noted litterateur, Ila Borgohain, Dr. Komola Borgohai, Professor of Dibrugarh University, Juga Gogoi, Secretary, Sivasagar District Sahitya Sabha, Dr. Pradip Hazarika, Principal, Rajgarh College and Subhit Chetri, President, Assam Press Corespondence Union respectively. In flag hosting and in gratification of reminiscence will be attended by the President, Dr. Luhit Kumar Bora and Bhimbor Patiri of the organisation respectively. The show will be officially opened by Dr. Jatin Chutia, the president, Moran Natya Samaj. The Assistant producer of Doordarshan Kendra Dibrugarh will attend as special guest in the the Prize distribution ceremony that will be held in the evening.

A case of gang rape of a newly married woman is registered at Sonari police station of Sivasagar district .
