New tourism agency in city

A new group of travel and tourism professionals comes up in Guwahati with a travel agency. Named as Natural Holidays at Guwahati the outfit aims at serving the demand of tourists in Guwahati.

The new venture was inaugurated by ATDC Ltd chairperson Dr Hemoprova Saikia with the various package tours at a function.

Apart from local tours, Natural Holidays also offers package tours to Shillong, Cherrepunjee, Kaziranga, Majuli, Bhalukpung, Bomdila, Tawang.

Conducted tours to Hajo, Sualkuchi, Madan Kamdev and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary are also in the pipeline, informs the outfit.

Three Tiwa organisations are all out to halt the panchayat polls in the areas falling under the Tiwa Autonomous Councils. According to information, these bodies are calling for a 48 hour central Assam bandh in protest against the panchayat polls in the Tiwa dominate areas in Nagaon, Morigaon and Kamrup.
