ULFA threatens to launch massive strike


ULFA’s anti-talk faction threatens to launch massive strike Assam. In an email statement sent to www.assamtimes.org ULFA’s publicity wing manager Arunodoy Dohotia said urged the common people to avoid the police stations and the security forces. Dohotia said they would target the security forces deployed to flush out the insurgent outfit.


He further said that they would also launch the vital spots and the political leaders who are acting against the outfit in the name of crackdown. The e-mail statement was issued a day after Assam police revealed ULFA’s blueprint to carry out a massive strike. The statement assumes significance hardly a week after the pro-talk faction discussed its charter of demands with the Centre in New Delhi.
