GNRC Health Check-up concludes

Nearly 20% journalists were detected with high sugar and blood pressure during a health check up camp organized by GNRC Hospitals at Guwahati Press Club today (Oct 29,2011). Over 100 member-journalists and other individuals participated in the camp which was inaugurated by eminent actor Pranjal Saikia. The inaugural ceremony was also graced by Br NC Borah, CMD of GNRC Hospitals. The attending doctors (Dr. Amit Ranjan Baruah, Dr. Aparajita Barman) informed that 20% of the participants were diagnosed with hypertension and around 10% were detected with high sugar content in blood. All of them were advised for further course of treatment. The camp was also attended by Satabdi (Pinki) Barah, Mrinal Ali Hazarika, Rajib Lahkar with Priyanka Barah, Rajkumar Gowda, ,Arvind Bhatta, Santanu Bhattacharya ,Diganta Goswami, Tridip Gogoi, Nirupa, Sofia,Romita, Raghu, Rahman, Manoj, Hormuhan, Dipen, Jaodi etc.
