EMFA congratulates Phukan

The Electronic Media Forum Assam has congratulated Marigaon based journalist Dalim Phukan for his selection of the district level Prachar Bharti award 2011. Phukan is reporting for Doordarshan, AIR and the Press Trust of India. Emphasizing on quality reporting from rural Assam, the EMFA expects that the award would encourage more district correspondents around the State to dedicate more time and space for their field of activities.

Yet another witch hunting incident fans no less shock and anger across the on Monday two days after it came to light.
