GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Guwahati on Saturday to open the global investment summit in the premier north eastern city. Modi is scheduled to arrive in Guwahati by 10 in the morning to be received by governor Jagdish Mukhi and chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal at the airport. UDALGURI: Thousands of people in Udalguri seem to have heaved a sigh of relief when Mazbat MLA,Charan Boro launched the Chief Minister's Free Diagnostic Services Programme in Orang CHC at a function on Thursday. KOHIMA:No poll candidates in Nagaland has so far filed nomination papers even two days after the Election Commission issues notification for the February 27 assembly polls. The state election office on Thursday confirmed that no candidate has turned up to file nomination paper and the returning officers stationed at the district and sub divisional headquarters have been remaining prepared to receive the papers till February 27.
