Encounter in Tinsukia: ULFA cadre killed

A hardcore ULFA militant was killed two others have been injured at an encounter with security forces in Tinsukia on Sunday. The incident took place at Kailashpur village under Pengeri police station which lasted for nearly 2 hours. Acting on a tip off, police and army jawans conducted an operation in the village where the heavy gunfight took place. One ULFA cadres died on the spot, two others have been injured while another managed to escape from the spot. Security forces have cordoned off
