voter awareness campaign failed to make impact on Dr.Manmohan Singh, Prim Minister of India, as he did not cast vote here. What do you expect from general public? Though he later on said that he has casted vote throuh Postal Ballot, he had to give the explanation due to report in the media fearing criticism- one feel.

Bomb explosion in Guwahati: 12 injured

In yet another mysterious  explosion that ripped apart Guwahati on Tuesday 12 people sustained injury putting the security forces in a state of utter confusion and cluelessness. The explosion took place at around 7.39 in the evening near the state zoo where two SSB soldiers were among the injured who have been undergoing treatment at the GMCH. PURI: As many as 250 pilgrims from Assam are said to have been remaining stranded in Odisha since the coastal state are hit by the ravaging Feni. CJI to hear detention camp cases

The Supreme Court has made it plain that Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi will hear the foreigners detention centres case. Dismissing a plea moved by lawyer Harsh Mander seeking recusal of CJI Gogoi on Thursday, a division bench of the top court comprising CJI Ranjan Gogoi Justices Deepak Gupta and Sanjiv Khanna said that the institution won’t be allowed to damage. Wild jumbo pulled huge crowd in Guwahati road

Guwahati: A wild confused wild jumbo wreaked no less havoc among the Guwahati denizens on Tuesday evening forcing the authorities to resort to tranquilizer.
