CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat says that his party would raise the multi crore scam in NC Hills of Assam in parliament. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Karat said siphonning off money meant for poor people is a grave and an unpardonable crime and that the guilty persons deserve punishment. Karat along with top party leaders held a brainstorming meet to formulate strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam.

There is no positive outcome in the district after scam issue and all the political leaders are busy in making an image for the upcoming election with the in the name of scam issue.
The district name should be totally named as DIMA HASAO in every article as suggested...as it is officially accepted in the gazzated offices in the state.

City police have arrested the Network Travels proprietor Pradyunmya Kumar Dutta charging him with threatening a driver with arms. The driver, who also attacked Dutta was also arrested for attacking him. On Sunday both they have been remanded to judicial custody when they were produced before the court.According to information, Pradyunmya Dutta alias Piku, was driving this car on Saturday night. Bokakhat police recovered one .22 revolver and 2 rounds of cartridges from one Ganesh Pegu (25) of Balijan Adrasha Mising Gaon on 22nd july. He was immediately arrested.
