ULFA arms ammo found in Shillong

Meghalaya police have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from ULFA from a school on Saturday. Accoridng to information, these arms and ammuniton were found inside an abandoned suitcase spotted by a group of students near Shillong Higher Secondary School in the evening. When reported police rushed to the spot and recovered 2 AK-47 rifles and a flash gun, 125 rounds of live ammunition, five kg of RDX bomb, three hand grenades, six magazines, two walkie talkies and incriminating documents belonging to the ULFA. These arms and ammunition were hidden ULFA militants at the instruction of Drishti Rajkhowa. Notably, parts of Meghalaya has become a safe transit route of ULFA, NDFB and NSCN (IM).
