Two hardcore NDFB insurgents have been nabbed along with two others in Nagaon district on Friday. The ultras belonging to the anti-talks faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland were involved in the serial blasts which left over 90 dead and 500 injured in Kokrajhar, Barpeta and Bongaigaon districts, besides Guwahati. They were travelling in a bus from Nagaland and apprehended at Samaguri during a check near the police station there.
Ten rounds of AK-47 rifle and .383 revolver ammunition were seized from the militants, identified as Haitha Basumatary and Rajendra Basumatary. Senior district police officials have been interrogating the duo.
