Ayodhya verdict: Assam sounds red alert


Assam sounds red alert in view of the much awaited verdict on the Ayodhya by the Allahabad High Court on Friday. Security forces are taking their positions across the state apprehending any communal clash after the court verdict. Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi has already sent a set of instructions to the ministers and party MLAs to rush to ther home constituencies to closely monitor the sitution.In a similar instrction, Gogoi has asked all district administrations to remain alert to avert any communal conflict in the form of untoward incident.Notably, a Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court is set to pronounce its verdict sharply at 3-30 in the afternoon on Thursday. The Supreme Court on Tuesday turned down a plea seeking deferment of the verdict.
