Three illegal migrants caught in Guwahati
Guwahati : Border branch of Guwahati city police on Monday arrested three illegal Bangladeshi nationals from Sonapur, a outskirt in the east Assam’s capital city.They have been identified as Abdul Noor (70), son of late Arfan Ali; Md Alis Mia (22), son of Md. Arash Ali and Md. Naib Ali (40), son of late Hazi Mfiz Ali of Sonamgunj district of Bangladesh. All were arrested for travelling India without any valid documents. They produced Bangladeshi ration cards, Bangladeshi Taka and INR 2400 in their possession before police. They confessed that they had entered India to visit Ajmer-E-Sharif of Khaja Moinuddin Sisti in Uttar Pradesh. One of them is believed to be confessed that earlier he had illegally entered India three times and went back voluntarily. According to police they had crossed over to India through Karimgunj border five days back and took shelter in an abandon house at Kachutoli village under Sonapur police station in Kamrup district. Local villagers informed police officials about the presence of three suspected migrants at the on Sunday evening. Accordingly police raided there on Monday morning to nab all. City police will push them back to Bangladesh through Mohisashan border post in Karimgang district
