ULFA Commander in Chief Paresh Baruah is understood to have been arrested in Bangladesh. But the Union home ministry has yet to confirm it. According to information, Paresh Barua apprehended by the Bangladeshi security agencies about two weeks back days as he was trying to cross over to Bangladesh via Myanmar border after visiting Chinese Yunnan province.
Barua was in Yunnan about four months ago after the Bangladeshi authorities launched a massive crackdown on anti-India insurgent groups.

Paresh Barua is not that naive that he will move over to a nation where there are maximum chnaces of his getting arreted..The man is too sly and a slippery customer.. The news may be false..If its true, then its valid reason for rejoicing as the ULFA will be finished.

Sivasagar : The frozen dead body of an Assamese soldier, who was killed in a plane crash long back in 1968, has been handed over to his family at Deodhai village in Sivsagar district on Tuesday.
