‘Karbi Youth Festival’, one of the largest ethnic festivals of the northeastern India is going to be held held at Taralangso in Diphu from February 15-20. The 36th Karbi Youth Festival, a celebration of the resurgent Karbi people’s joyful expression who are in search of their own from the old Karbi rong (village) from the valleys, hills, and plains of the north-east & from the hearts of the nature. It’s a celebration of Karbi heritage and culture held on the beautiful and evergreen Taralangso near Diphu as its permanent venue.
The festival has become a place for unity and harmony amongst people. People from different parts of the states and other parts of the country are expected to participate in the 36th Karbi Youth Festival. The festival shows the rich tradition of Karbi tribe and it’s a place where one can many things.
