Tensions Escalate Between Chief Minister and Opposition Leader

Nazira: In a recent election meeting at the Mezenga Higher Secondary School Field in Nazira, State Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Vishwa Sharma sparked controversy with his sharp response to allegations made by State Leader of Opposition and Nazira MLA Devvrat Saikia.

During the gathering, Dr. Sharma addressed the crowd, expressing disdain towards Saikia's claims that the Chief Minister fails to respond to letters addressing matters of public interest. Sharma's remarks came in response to Saikia's earlier assertion that Sharma's lack of response reflects arrogance.

Saikia, in his statement, criticized the Chief Minister's apparent disregard for protocol and pledged to persist in raising issues pertinent to public welfare.

The exchange highlights growing tensions between the ruling party and the opposition in Nazira, with both sides digging in their heels ahead of the upcoming elections.

As the political climate intensifies, observers anticipate further clashes between the two factions as they vie for support and dominance in the state.
