CM's stock taking meet on COVID19 sans Himanta

Guwahati : Assam chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had a stock taking video conference with all district authorities in the time of COVID-19.

Sonowal asked Deputy Commissioners to take all possible measures to keep the killer virus at bay. 

Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his junior minister Piyush Hazarika were conspicuous by their absence from the meeting on COVID-19.

Sarma along with two senior cabinet ministers on Wednesday reviewed the situation and knockdown in Guwahati at a meeting with chief minister.

The meetings assumed significance after Indian Medical Association and All Assam Medical Students Association alleged utter mismanagement of the menace.
