National workshop concludes in Bodoland University

KOKRAJHAR: A two-week long national workshop on research methodology was concluded on Friday at Bodoland University in Kokrajhar district. The workshop started from 16th November and organised by the Padmashri Madaram Brahma Central Library, Department of History & Department of Political Science, Bodoland University.

94 research scholars, teachers of various colleges & Universities took part in the workshop from different universities.

Eminent scholars including Prof. Narendra Lahkar of Gauhati University, Prof. Sanjay Kumar Singh of Gauhati University, Dr. Pralip Narzary of IIPS, Mumbai, Prof. P.K. Patra of Bodoland University, Kokrajhar, Dr. Melody Kshetrimayum, TISS Mubai, Dr. Jennifer Kipgen, TISS, Guwahati Campus, Dr. Joydeep Baruah, OKDISCD, Guwahati, Dr. Akshay Jyoti Sarma, Prof. Oinam Ranjit Singh, Bodoland University were attended as resource persons and presented paper reading on the topic which has saw healthy environment.

Organising Secretary of the workshop, Dr. Sangrang Brahma told that the basic objective of the workshop is to create awareness in the academic research activities in the Bodoland area thus creating knowledge resources.He said that participants and resource persons have gathered good and attractive environment during the workshop days.
