Rape accused arrested

The incident was took place at Santinagar(Ward No. 2) near Kokrajhar Circuit House on Wednesday evening. 

According to family members, the inciden came into light when victim minor expressed her pain in urine and was reveles to her monther. Family members admitted to Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital for medical test as well treatment.

  Following the FIR against incident, police arrested the accused in the evening. The accused was identified as Amiya Debnath (55) alias Khagen Debnath of Santinagar.

 Kokrajhar Police arrested the culprit and investigation is on, said a police officer. 

Local publics in the area condemned the incident and demanded strong punishment to the culprit as per law. 

Mother of victim girl told that her daughter was raped by Amiya, who was a family relative. She has demanded culprit must be punished.
